Backyard garden salad recipe

The best part of having a backyard farm is enjoying the foods you've worked so hard to grow. This salad recipe is open for variation based on what you like to grow and what you like to eat.   • Various lettuce varieties: bib lettuce, romaine, arugula
  • Various kale varieties: red, green
  • Red, yellow & green peppers
  • A few kinds of tomatoes: Roma, cherry, heirloom
  • Chives
  • Herbs: sage & dill

Ingredients from the market:

  • Hemp & chia seeds
  • Sunflower seeds
  • Nuts


  • A little olive oil (using an oil spray bottle helps reducing the amount of oil used)
